Biography
Mr Vipin Mehta is consultant in cardiac surgery and heart and lung transplantation, based at Wythenshawe Hospital at Manchester University NHS Foundation trust.
He was appointed as Consultant in 2018. After one year at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital as Cardiac and Aortic surgeon, he joined at Manchester University NHS Foundation trust.
He is currently Lead for Manchester NORS (National Organ Retrieval Service) team and responsible for leading the heart and lung retrieval, training the fellows in organ retrieval, managing the transplant team rota.
