Group Chairman (Kathy Cowell, OBE DL) and Group Chief Executive (Mark Cubbon) are delighted to invite you to this year’s Annual Members’ Meeting which will be held in-person on Wednesday, 25th September 2024 at 1.00pm – 5.00pm in the Nowgen Centre, Oxford Road Campus (near the Manchester Royal Infirmary), M13 9WU.

This free event is open to members, patients, staff, family, friends and anyone from the local community.

The theme for this year’s meeting is ‘Your Health Matters’ with stands being available to showcase the key work and achievements of our hospitals and community colleagues.  The key focus being how we are improving care for our patients and tackling health inequalities.  Interactive health sessions and information will be available to help you stay well this winter.  You can also find out more about our new MFT Strategy ‘ Where Excellence Meets Compassion.

As part of the statutory, formal part of the meeting, presentations from our Directors about the Trust’s Annual Report and Accounts (2023/24), Plans for the Future alongside a Membership Report will be provided.  The results of our 2024 Governor election will also be formally announced.  By attending this key event, you will also be able to:

  • Find out how our Trust is performing
  • Hear how we’re responding to patient and staff feedback
  • Put your questions to the Board of Directors
  • Share your ideas and views with our Governors about health care, to help us make important decisions when developing our future plans.
  • Hear from Clinicians about our Sickle Cell service and Hospital@Home care.
