The service offers specialist nurse led assessment for people with bladder (lower urinary tract) or bowel problems. On completion of assessment, treatment or care plans are agreed.
The secondary aim of this service is to reduce unnecessary consultant referrals and treat people in primary care where appropriate.
The service works directly with GPs and has access to Uro-Gynaecology and Urology. The service is compliant with NICE guidance at the conservative level of care.
