Specialist Nurse, Children's Palliative Care
The Specialist Nurse, Children’s Palliative Care provides assessment, care and support to children, young people and their families living with a life limiting or life threatening condition.
Support can start at diagnosis and continues throughout the child’s life, during end of life care and beyond into bereavement support for the whole family.
Key aims and objectives of the service are optimising quality of life, partnership working with the family and other professionals, acting as a specialist resource to families and professionals, empowering and advocating for families.
