Biography
Maggie graduated from Birmingham University in 1998. She did her first few years of paediatric training in the West Midlands and London and then moved to the North West for her Registrar post.
Appointed as a General Paediatric Consultant at Saint Mary’s Hospital in 2008, Maggie moved into RMCH with the department in 2009. As a general paediatrician, she contributes to the acute general paediatric service and holds outpatient clinics in RMCH, including one in PED, and in Trafford General Hospital.
Maggie is also part of the hospital safeguarding team. She has an interest in safety and quality improvement and in 2012-14 was the lead clinician for a Health Foundation sponsored project called ‘The whole me’: improving the safety and quality of care for the child with medical complexity’ within RMCH.
She is currently the clinical lead for the General Paediatric Department.
