Biography

Dr Kinsella is the clinical lead for chronic pain management in Trafford and a member of the North West Pain Group. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and of the Faculty of Pain Medicine. He is also a long-standing member of the British Pain Society. His consultant career began in Trafford in 1984 at what was then Park Hospital, Davyhulme (now Trafford General). A member and/or chair of numerous local and regional committees over the years, Dr KInsella was also Trafford’s first Clinical Director for Anaesthesia and Theatres. He has built up the pain management service in Trafford from a small doctor-provided service to a more multidisciplinary team that sees increasing numbers of patients being referred.
