Biography
Mr Nicholas Stylianides was appointed as a Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon at Manchester Royal Infirmary in 2016. He completed his surgical training in the North West of England and has completed two post CCT fellowships including a laparoscopic colorectal fellowship at Bradford Royal Infirmary and subsequently an advanced rectal cancer fellowship at the Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm, Sweden.
He has an interest in advanced rectal cancers and minimally invasive surgery.
He was elected President of the Dukes’ Club and was a member of the council of the Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland for the duration of this term.
He is a member of the faculty at the Mersey School of Endoscopy for the JAG colonoscopy course.
Mr Stylianides has completed a postgraduate certificate in medical education and teaches on MRCS and FRCS preparation courses.
