Our service includes Upper Gastro-Intestinal (UGI) surgery, Lower GI (Colorectal surgery and Hepatobiliary (HPB) surgery.
The multidisciplinary surgical team provides a range of specialist services. We use minimally invasive (keyhole) technique for many procedures and are continually developing our surgical services.
The department is committed to providing high levels of training and education to staff and is also active in developing multidisciplinary team working and research.
Location and Services
This service is led by our Clinical Head of Department, who is a Consultant Surgeon, is supported by our Directorate Manager.
