How the Coronavirus Pandemic has Affected Me?
- It has been good when I’m at home
- I’ve saved my money more
- It is more chilled out and peaceful
Feelings at home
- Stress free
- Relaxed
School
- Dreadful
- Constant exams
- Lots of pressure – too much pressure
- Why so many exams? I would prefer course work
Feelings at school
- Manic
- Chaotic
What am I doing differently?
- More walks
- Revising more
- Getting more stuff done because I have more time and not on a time restriction.
- Rushed – with schoolwork
Friends
- Hard only being able to see one person in a group
What the world is like?
- It is weird everyone is wearing masks and it is like a ghost town!

The Coronavirus and Me
I haven’t seen my family for a long, long time. It’s been really hard. I miss my cousins and my nanny and grandad. I like playing with them. I’ve seen them on video, but not in real life. I miss them so much because I can’t give them hugs.
I have felt sad and disappointed.
I felt very scared about the coronavirus because I’ve never heard of it before. I didn’t know what was going to happen.
Now, I feel more happy because it’s getting over and I can’t wait for a hug with my family.

The Coronavirus
Contact with family has been through a card.
Friends not being seen,
Being without them feels mean.
The coronavirus is a big bully,
Pushing people in its way,
Making us all feel scared
Whilst it’s catching its morning prey.
There’s always a brick wall getting in our path.
We keep trying to get back to normal,
but it keeps unleashing its wrath.
One day we will destroy it and hope it never comes back,
We want it gone forever
Our lives back on track.
