Catering

Trafford Division provides a range of services to suit our patient, visitor and staff needs.  Our menus are designed to offer a wide selection of nutritional and healthy choices as well as sandwiches, hot and cold drinks and snacks.

In-Patient Menu

We provide a two week rotating menu, which follows the main principles of the “better hospital food programme and provide over 500,000 meals per year.

Healthy Options

The menu for both patients and the Restaurant provides healthy options as well as more traditional dishes.  Some of the healthy options on the menu are jacket potatoes without butter or fats, healthy soups, sandwiches with low fat mayo, dishes with oily fish – full of Omega 3 and 6, baked or steamed main dishes rather than fried and healthy sides for your mains such as rice and salads.

Breakfast      07.00-8.00

Lunch           12.00-13.00

Supper          16.45-18.00

Cultural, Religious and Special Diets

Our menus provide a choice for all patients including those with religious or cultural requirements or on a special diet.

Restaurant and Coffee Lounge

The Restaurant and Coffee Lounge is on the main ground floor corridor at the rear of Trafford General Hospital and provides hot and cold meals, healthy options and snacks as well as a variety of hot and cold drinks.

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 16.00pm

Closed Saturday and Sunday

Vending

In addition to the In-patient meal and restaurant services we also provide a selection of vending machines around site that also offer healthy options such as fresh fruit, yoghurts, sugar free drinks and bottled water.
