Obstetric Epilepsy Clinic (Salford)

Women who have epilepsy are at higher risk of complications of epilepsy when they are pregnant.

In the clinic, we try to optimise medication and stress the importance to women of taking their medication.  The medication and seizure frequency is reviewed at each visit. Advice is given to the pregnant women on how to keep herself and her baby safe.
