The UK National Aspergillosis Centre (NAC) is located at the renowned North West Lung Centre within Wythenshawe Hospital, part of  Manchester University Hospital Foundation Trust (MFT).

Operating under the Infectious Diseases service, NAC offers specialised expertise in managing Chronic Pulmonary Aspergillosis (CPA). As the only Highly Specialised Service commissioned by NHS England to provide care to CPA patients, we are eager to gain a more thorough understanding of its geographical distribution and the current management practices employed throughout the UK. Specifically, we seek to explore:

  1. Prevalence of CPA: By understanding how many individuals are affected by CPA across different regions in the UK, we can better allocate resources and tailor treatments to meet the needs of patients in various areas.
  2. Geographical Distribution: We want to identify any patterns or trends in the distribution of CPA cases.
  3. Management Practices: Your insights into the current diagnostic and treatment approaches for CPA are invaluable. We aim to gather data on the methods employed by clinicians and identify any gaps or areas for improvement.

We would greatly appreciate your help in this effort by taking a moment to fill out the questionnaire. Your input is incredibly important and will help us understand how CPA is diagnosed and treated in the UK.
