Mr Bayoumi received excellent training in the whole spectrum of maxillofacial surgery and developed a special interest in the management of facial deformity, temporomandibular joint disease and surgery including joint replacements, facial pain management, post traumatic deformity and surgical dermatology. This is in addition to the full spectrum of oral surgery, including implantology and diagnostic oral medicine. Following qualification in Dentistry and Medicine from the University of Wales, Cardiff Mr Bayoumi undertook basic training across South Wales prior to being appointed to Higher Specialist Training in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in the West Midlands. He trained in three level 1 trauma centres including the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham and Birmingham Children’s Hospital which is one of four national centres for Craniofacial Surgery. He is a core member of the Skin Cancer MDT based at Tameside Hospital and has extensive experience in managing benign and malignant head and neck skin disease.
