Who can use the library?
How do I join?
Following this, on your next visit to the library, present your MFT ID badge to one of the library staff who will then link your badge to your library record. You can then use the self-service facilities (at Oxford Road during their opening hours and at Wythenshawe 24/7) to borrow and return items.

When are the libraries open?
Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 7pm
Friday 8.30am – 5pm
Wythenshawe Hospital Library. If you have a MFT Wythenshawe ID badge, you can swipe into the library 24/7 365.

Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm

Monday – Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm

How many books can I borrow and for how long?
How can I renew my books?
You can renew by email, phone, in person, by logging in to your own library account or via the library app.
You can renew up to a maximum of 3 times after which time you will have to bring the item(s) to the library. The item(s) can then be re-issued to you provided they have not been reserved by another library user.
How can I access my personal library account?
Accessing your personal library account will enable you to view and renew the items you have on loan, place reservations and update your personal details.
How can I find out what books and journals are available?
