Biography
Dr MacLeod studied at the University of St Andrews and the University of Manchester and qualified in 2005. After training in the North West, she spent a year in Uganda working on improvements in maternal and new born health.
She was appointed as a consultant at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Manchester in 2015.
Dr MacLeod has a special interest in HIV in pregnancy and works alongside Dr K Chan in the Obstetric HIV Service. She also has a specialist interest in gestational diabetes. She runs specialist clinics for these disorders and also runs a general high risk obstetric antenatal clinic.
She is joint Obstetric Lead for HIV in Pregnancy and Obstetric Lead for Enhanced Recovery following Elective Caesarean Sections.
