I am proud to be the Medical Director of Saint Mary’s Hospital Managed Clinical Service. I took up this role on 1st April 2018, having worked at Saint Mary’s as a Consultant Obstetrician and Subspecialist in Fetal and Maternal Medicine since 2001.
My main clinical interest is cardiac disease in pregnancy and together with colleagues we have developed this service, so that it is now recognised nationally. Since becoming a consultant I have held various educational, governance and management roles. Currently I am a member of the Council of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, a MRCOG examiner and a MPTS tribunal member for GMC hearings.
I have two grown up sons. When on holiday I enjoy skiing and windsurfing (but my enthusiasm outstrips my skill).
