The length of time students are placed at MFT Wythenshawe/Withington can indicate which type of Induction is required.
A full day Trust induction will be provided for all students who are in placement for longer than three months. This will be arranged by the placement. A local induction is required for all non-medical healthcare students in placement for under 3 months. A member of staff will conduct the local induction, in most cases this will be the mentor or educator within the placement. All healthcare students will have received basic mandatory training in core subjects at the HEI.
