Biography
Dr Mohammed completed her undergraduate medical training at the University of Leicester and qualified in 2004. She completed her post graduate specialty training in the North West and was appointed as a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Saint Mary’s Hospital in 2016.
Dr Mohammed has a special interest in abnormally invasive placentae and the management of pregnant patients with complex surgical co-morbidities. She is also interested in improving migrant health and supporting victims of female genital mutilation.
She also has an interest in risk management and governance. She is currently the deputy lead of governance in the Obstetrics department.
Dr Mohammed is the Lead for Complex Caesarean Section service and the Enhanced Recovery Ward in Obstetrics.
