The rooms can be used for study days, seminars and conferences.
Our conference and seminar facilities are located in three adjacent buildings – the Postgraduate Centre, the Undergraduate Centre and the Library. All are situated at the Boulevard, the main thoroughfare on the central Manchester site on the Oxford Road Campus, within convenient reach of the on-site car parks.
All rooms have integrated audio-visual equipment, with a computer. LCD screen, flipcharts and pens.
The historic Postgraduate Centre was part of the original hospital it moved to Oxford Road from Piccadilly Gardens in the Centre of Manchester in 1908. At that time, it provided teaching and education facilities and a library on the upper floors and the ground floor housed the X-ray department.
Built in a traditional style with striking stone carvings, it has now been fully modernised and refurbished and offers a 200-seater lecture theatre, spacious seminar rooms, reception and exhibition area for poster displays and a Separate refreshment and dining areas with outdoor garden.
The Undergraduate Centre was added to the hospital campus on 2009 to meet the educational and training professionals. It consists of two theatre style lecture theatres, 10 seminar room, two breakout areas and a separate area for refreshments.
Our conference team would be happy to discuss your conference and meeting requirements.
