Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is one of the sponsoring body with the GMC and can sponsor you if you are an overseas doctor to enable you to gain your GMC registration to work and train in the UK.
International Training Fellows recruited under Manchester International Fellowship Scheme are appointed from outside the UK/EU to undertake a fixed period of training with appropriate supervision and teaching; which will help you to acquire useful and suitable skills and knowledge before you return to your country of origin. If you join us as an International Fellow, you’ll be expected to be involved in teaching, training, quality improvement projects and research activities along with extensive clinical opportunities on available at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. We also offer specialised support for international doctors in your first two years of UK placements with enhanced induction, supervision, peer buddy and career advice.
