How much will I get paid?
Joining us as a Band 3 Booking and Scheduling Coordinator is paid at £24,071 on Agenda for Change terms and conditions (AfC).
Will I get paid a shift allowance on top of my basic salary?
Yes, if your role includes any evening, weekend or bank holiday working hours.
Your role
Is there a probationary period?
Yes, you’ll be on probation for six months as per our Trust policy and meet with you line manager regularly to support you on the start of you MFT journey, with a view to helping you to achieve meeting a successful probationary period.
If I work a full day will I get any breaks?
All of our sites work slightly differently but all roles at MFT include breaks to ensure your health and wellbeing.
How does my day start on shift?
Typically a Booking and Scheduling Coordinator will start at 9am which means you need to be at your work station ready to start work at 9am. Details of start and finish times will be discussed at your interview.
How much annual leave will I get?
You’ll get 27 days of annual leave, not including Bank Holidays. You can request and plan your leave in advance with your line manager. After ten years’ service, your entitlement jumps to 33 days so it’s a great incentive to stay with us in a job you’ll love!

37.5 hours per week.
Can I work part-time?
MFT has many colleagues who work part-time, to fit in with their lives outside of work and we welcome and actively encourage flexible working. That said, there are of course limitations to flexible / part-time working depending on the needs of the service – so tell us in your application what hours and times of work best suit you, and if we can accommodate these, we will.

Can I pick which location I can work at?
We ask you as part of your application which site is best for you to work at, most likely the one you can best travel to from your home. In case there aren’t enough opportunities for you at that site, we also ask you which of our other sites you could travel to. So start with where works best for you and then we’ll do our best to match you to that.
Your training & development
What training will I get if I have never worked in a care setting before?
We’ll make sure you get a full induction and training to equip you for the role of a Booking & Scheduling Coordinator. That will include orientating you into working in healthcare as well as the healthcare systems you will need to use.
