The Recurrent Miscarriage Antenatal Clinic is a specialist service dedicated to caring for women who have experienced recurrent pregnancy loss.
We liaise closely with the gynaecology service to ensure seamless transfer of care, once pregnant. We recognise that a pregnancy following recurrent loss is a stressful time and therefore aim to provide women with regular access to a supportive team throughout the duration of their pregnancy’
Women who require cervical cerclage (stitch around the cervix) because of a history of preterm birth or late pregnancy loss will also be seen initially in this clinic to enable their procedure to be planned.
We offer:
- Individualised management plans with targeted evidence-based treatments
- Supportive care for women with unexplained recurrent pregnancy loss
- Consultant led antenatal care with midwifery support
