Don Domitrioff
Staff Governor for Non-Clinical and Support
As a newly elected staff governor for non-clinical & support services, my main aim will be to put patients first and seek assurances from the non-executive directors and the board that the best interests of the patients are always prioritised.
I believe that my NHS career will give an advantage as a governor, as I’ve seen healthcare from multiple viewpoints from patients, clinicians and the public. I understand the importance of good quality data in healthcare and the bearing that this can have on a patient’s care journey, specifically, waiting lists, outpatients’ appointments and hospital admittance.
MFT is evolving. The NHS Ten-Year Plan calls for proactive prevention, digital revolution, and equitable communities of care. I’ll champion governance that listens, learns, and leads transparent decisions, measurable progress, real impact.
The NHS isn’t just a legacy—it’s a promise. And promises deserve progress.
