Now retired I previously have worked in a wide range of settings from grassroots voluntary sector to statutory bodies in adult social care to safeguarding including quality assurance.
As a black disabled woman and the Nominated Governor for Manchester BME Network, I will use my expertise, knowledge and skills to continually strive with challenging inequalities and discriminatory policies, systems and practices in different collaborative and partnership settings.
Representing the views of members and the wider diverse communities that the Trust serves will be a key focus in my Governor role alongside supporting the Trust to deliver the best care for patients.
