Any complaints or concerns about any aspect of the service should be raised initially with the Laboratory Manager on telephone 0161 701 1201.
We are keen to know about any problems arising from the laboratory service. Feedback from our users will help in our constant efforts to improve our service.
Accreditation
The Department of Clinical Biochemistry provides a comprehensive analytical and consultant advisory service to the hospitals of Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust and to general practitioners, and holds ISO 15189:2022 accreditation from UKAS. Current accreditation status for all sites (Oxford Road, Wythenshawe, Trafford and NMGH (laboratory 9063) can be checked on the UKAS website.
Point of Care Testing (POCT) is also accredited under ISO 15189:2022 (laboratory 9063) for several devices.
