Our five-year Trust Strategy, Where Excellence Meets Compassion, sets out how we will work together to overcome our challenges and improve the health and quality of life of the diverse communities we serve.
In February 2026, we refreshed the Strategy to realign our plans with the evolving national and local health and care landscape. Since its launch, we have delivered real and meaningful improvements for patients, creating a strong platform for the future.
The NHS 10-Year Health Plan, alongside the Life Sciences Sector Plan and the refreshed Greater Manchester Strategy, sets a clear and ambitious direction for the next decade. Refreshing our Trust Strategy ensures our plans for 2026/27 and beyond remain aligned with this direction, reflect national and local priorities, and are grounded in the everyday experiences of our patients and colleagues.
