Public Governor for Manchester Constituency

I trained as a Doctor in the Manchester hospitals and have lived in the Manchester area.

As a former Non-Executive Director, the experience and skills acquired in key roles including ‘Freedom to Speak Up’ and ‘Complaints Management’, will be valuable as a Governor of MFT.  As a Governor, a key focus area for me is in relation to the culture of the organisation and upholding its values.

As a recently retired GP in Central Manchester, having practiced for over 40 years, I have also built-up a sound knowledge base about the healthcare system.  Having a wide network of community contacts across Manchester will be an asset that I will also use to proactively engage with the wider public and communities at large.
