Public Governor for Manchester Constituency

As a retired GP I have accumulated nearly 40 years’ service for the NHS, the majority of which was spent working as a GP in South Manchester. During my years’ service in Manchester, I had the privilege to work collaboratively with the professionals, patients, and carers across the MFT hospitals. The knowledge, experience and wisdom I gained in general practice will be utilised to support MFT in providing high quality compassionate care in my role now as an MFT Governor.

I have a great fondness for the NHS and take pride in Manchester being the birthplace of such a fantastic organisation. Now I’m retired I have the time and energy to commit to this important position and regain my passion for the diverse people of Manchester.
