Staff Governor for Non-Clinical and Support

Term of Office: 3 Years – Ending at 2023 Annual/Special Members’ Meeting.

Flo cares passionately about the Trust having worked and lived in the area for more than thirteen years. She cherishes the excellent work that MFT does in the communities it serves – and the opportunity to give something back to the Trust’s members, staff and community.

As an MFT patient as well as a staff member, Flo has experience of being on the receiving end of care. She volunteers with Manchester Sickle Cell and Thalassemia Centre to promote events for the centre as well as the MFT Charity. She has been involved in the staff BAME Network for the past three years, and also works with the LGBT community and a local church.

Flo is keen to use both her professional and personal experience to contribute to the Council of Governors. She aims to use her networking and communication skills to build links with staff on a regular basis, and to respond to the opportunities for engaging with local people in the community.
