Luke Georghiou is Deputy President and Deputy Vice-Chancellor of The University of Manchester. He provides strategic leadership and operational management across a full-range of University functions.
He is directly responsible for business engagement and commercialisation activities and remains active in research, often being asked to provide policy advice to governments and businesses to work on innovation management, public procurement and innovation.
He is a member of the Board of Directors for Manchester Science Partnerships, the UK’s largest science park company and the Northern Gritstone company, which invests in university spin-outs in health and other advanced technologies in the North of England.
