MFT’s Division of Laboratory Medicine is one of the largest pathology services in the UK, with extensive facilities on four sites across Manchester.
Our laboratories
We are one of the most forward-looking Laboratory Medicine divisions in the country. The ground floor of our Clinical Sciences Centre at the Oxford Road Campus has undergone a complete transformation to bring in state-of-the art equipment which will keep us at the forefront of pathology technological developments for the decade ahead.
The restructure was needed to house a streamlined automated area, feeding Biochemistry, Haematology, Viral Serology and Immunology.
The changes place us at the forefront of technological developments in pathology, increasing the efficiency of our testing to benefit patients and service users.
